We are delighted to introduce to you all to Ms. Fridah Riinya, the new secretary for Hope International Ministry Trust in Meru. After a thorough search for the right person, the Hope Board hired Fridah to help with various tasks in the Hope office. It is our hope that Fridah will provide a much-needed link between the UPPC Cherish Ministry to Meru and the children and families there.
Please include Fridah in your prayers, as I'm sure there is much to do in setting up this new position. We are so grateful for her! While I'm here, let me remind you to check the blog from time to time for updates AND REMEMBER YOU CAN ALWAYS COME TO THE BLOG AND LOOK UNDER "ANNOUNCEMENTS" (by scrolling down the right hand side of the page) FOR INFORMATION ABOUT SENDING LETTERS TO MERU, WHEN TRIMESTER DONATIONS ARE DUE, ETC.
This fall we will have several students sitting for exams, thus ending their four years of high school. After their final year, official sponsorship of these students ends, but we hope you will continue to be in touch with your sponsored graduate if it's possible. AND IF YOU ARE ABLE, THAT YOU WILL CONSIDER SPONSORING A NEW STUDENT IN PLACE OF YOUR GRADUATE.
