What joy is ours to celebrate with the Mburugu family on the occasion of Josephine's graduation from UW! The big day was June 13. Josephine, now affectionately referred to as "Professor" earned her B.A. in Social Work.
As Karen Lau pointed out, this is no small accomplishment when you consider the fact that she is a full-time care-giver to their dear friend, Dr. Hess, the mother of two active teenagers, a devoted wife, and part-time employee in a variety of venues and, don't forget, an active volunteer on behalf of the children and families in Meru.
Hats off to Josephine for pulling this off! And a big thank you to God for bringing these lovely people into our lives at UPPC. The blessing is ours indeed!
